A set of handcrafted greyhound buttons, made with clay and finished with gold chrome, created for the cover of “Underdogs” by Louise Powell. This design was inspired by the excerpt from the novel, “This short wool coat, the colour of the coal he used to mine, with buttons made of the gold he mined now. Greyhound-shaped, obviously”, and placed in the top 3 in the cover design competition by John Murray Press.
